CPU Definitions

• CPU# = Sequential number of CPU
   ◊ CPU = Manufacturer’s model number
      + CPU Speed = In MHz.  The (XXX) returns a value which helps determine the 
               speed of the processor.  If the CPU speed shows as “UnKnown”, please 
               report this number to us along with the Model Name from the nameplate 
               on your computer and the Machine ID number provided under the Machine 
               field above.
      + CPU Bus Speed =  In MHz.Speed at which the CPU communicates with 
               memory
      + Processor Version = Version
      + Instruction Cache Size = In bytes
      + Data Cache Size = In bytes
   ◊ L2 Cache :
      + L2 Cache Type = Are L2 Instruction and data caches combined (unified) or
               split
      + L2 Instruction Cache Size = In bytes
      + L2 Data Cache Size = In bytes
   ◊ FPU = Type of Floating Point Unit (math chip)
      + Hardware FPU = Is FPU implemented in hardware
   ◊ MMU = Type of Memory Management Unit.  Performs address mapping
